Located in the heart of scenic Manchester, Vermont, Christos' Pizza & Pasta is a testament to the owners' love for food.
The story of Christos' Pizza & Pasta began in a bakery in Athens, Greece, in the mid-1950s, where owners Vasilios and Garifalia Alexiou worked tirelessly to perfect their baked goods. While successful with their bakery, the hardworking pair looked for new opportunities. In 1967, they brought their expertise to Vermont. Several years later, in 1974, they opened Manchester's first pizza restaurant. And in the years that followed, they opened 4 more pizza restaurants across Vermont and Massachusetts.
In 1983, Christos followed in his parents' footsteps and, along with his wife Athena, moved from Greece to the Green Mountain State. With the dream of owning their own business, the entrepreneurial couple bought a popular Italian restaurant on Main Street in Manchester. Not long after, in 1986, the restaurant was renovated into what is now Christos' Pizza & Pasta.
To this day, Christos' Pizza & Pasta uses the same dough recipe and passion that Christos' parents brought with them from Greece. That makes our goal simple: make the best pizza around and serve it in a warm, welcoming environment.
